Love Bug

Katie sent me this picture yesterday, he's so handsome! Two weeks younger than Gretchen but about 1.5 pounds heavier. I just want to pinch those cheeks!One month

New hair-dos!
I got my hair cut yesterday and to follow suit Gretchen had Violet style hers. To recreate Gretchen's look have your dog lick the top of your head, then have mom run her fingers through your hair.

Piano Playing Fingers
Gretchen has long fingers and toes. Since the moment she arrived people have been commenting on her piano playing fingers. Although she has yet to start playing piano she is is sure to keep those fingers busy.

On Wednesday Katie and Ben welcomed their little boy, Jackson, to the world! He was very, very ready, weighing in at 9 pounds 2 ounces. We can't wait to meet him! Happy Birthday Jackson! Baby Jackson

Gretchen goes out
We took Gretchen to be photographed by one of my oldest friends yesterday. Now most of Gretchen's day is taken up by sleeping but not during her photo shoot. She stayed awake almost the entire time and was sure to leave her mark all over Jess' black backdrop by pooping all over it multiple times: must have been the cool air. Before her pictures I figured I would give her little head a wash. We discovered last week that Gretchen has very curly wet hair but when it dries it's straight. Love her!
